FIRUDIN ALLAHVERDI (AZ) FIRUDIN ALLAHVERDI was born in december 1980 in Baku/Azerbaijan. Composer of primarily orchestral, chamber and choral works that have been performed in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Russia, Switzerland, Poland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Turkey, including various international festivals. He began his composition classes by Pr. Khayyam MIRZAZADEH at Baku Music Academy from 1999-2003, and continued (master degree) by Pr. Nazim MIRISHLI, meanwhile learning new music technics by Pr. Elmir MIRZOYEV, additionally, attended STOCKHAUSEN courses in Kürten in 2006, and master class (Omnibus Laboratorium) by Pr. Roland MOSER in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 2007. Firudin is an artistic director and conductor of the Union of Young Musicians of Azerbaijan and actively participated in organisation of a concert held by UYMA in Baku. First prize winner of “Pre-Art” competition for young composers (Switzerland) in 2008. Awarded for “the best chamber music composer of 2005 year” on behalf of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan.
